How Vouchers Work

Buying and using a gift voucher is simple -- no app required, just a few quick steps.

Choose an amount

Select a voucher value from the options shown or enter a custom amount.

Pay securely

Complete your payment via our secure payment partner. Your card details are never stored by us.

Receive your voucher

Get your voucher as an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass, or as a printable QR code.

Use at our shop

Show your wallet pass or QR code when you visit. The staff will scan it and deduct the amount from your balance.

Checking Your Balance

You can check how much is left on your voucher at any time.

Visit the Check Balance page

Go to our Check Balance page.

Enter your voucher code

Type in your voucher code (e.g. GFT-XXXX-XXXX) from your wallet pass, email, or printed voucher.

See your balance

View your remaining balance and full transaction history showing every purchase and redemption.

Sending as a Gift

Gift vouchers make the perfect present. Here's how gifting works:

Choose "Send as a gift"

During the purchase process, select the gift option to send the voucher to someone else.

Enter the recipient's details

Fill in the recipient's name and email address. You can also include a personal gift message.

They receive their voucher

The recipient will get an email with their gift voucher and a link to add it to their Apple or Google Wallet.

Adding to Your Phone

Keep your voucher handy by saving it to your phone's wallet app.

Apple Wallet: Tap "Add to Apple Wallet" on the success page or in your confirmation email. Your voucher will appear in the Wallet app alongside your other passes.

Google Wallet: Tap "Save to Google Wallet" on the success page or in your confirmation email. Make sure Google Wallet is installed from the Play Store.

Auto-updating: Your voucher balance updates automatically in your wallet after each use -- no need to refresh or re-download.

Important Information

5-year validity: Vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase, as required by the Consumer Protection (Gift Vouchers) Act 2019.

No VAT at purchase: Gift vouchers are classified as Multi-Purpose Vouchers. No VAT is charged when you buy the voucher -- VAT applies only when goods or services are redeemed.

Partial redemption: You don't have to use the full voucher in one go. Spend any amount and the remaining balance stays on your voucher for next time.

No cash exchange: Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. They can only be redeemed for goods and services at our shop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your voucher is valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. This is the minimum period required under Irish law (Consumer Protection (Gift Vouchers) Act 2019). The expiry date is shown on your voucher and wallet pass.

Yes, partial redemption is fully supported. You can use any amount from your voucher and the remaining balance is automatically saved. Check your balance at any time on our Check Balance page.

Don't worry -- there are a few ways to find it again:

If you added the voucher to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, open the Wallet app and look for your voucher pass. The code is displayed on the pass.

Check your email for the original purchase confirmation or gift notification, which includes the voucher code.

If you still can't find it, contact us with the email address used at purchase and we'll help you retrieve it.

If your voucher is unused, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Please contact us with your voucher code and we'll arrange the refund to your original payment method.

Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a regulated payment provider. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our systems.

Yes, you can purchase as many vouchers as you like. Each purchase creates a separate voucher with its own code and balance, so they're easy to manage and great for gifting to multiple people.
